RALPH E. ELLIOTT

 

Ralph Elliott has been engaged in the practice of law in Freeport, Illinois since 1981. He graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign College of Liberal Arts and Sciences with a Bachelor of Science Degree, Summa Cum Laude, earning Phi Beta Kappa recognition in 1978. He graduated from the University of Illinois College of Law in 1981. Ralph completed the intensive mediation training program with Northwestern University’s School of Continuing Studies in September of 2012.

 

Ralph is admitted to the practice of law in the state of Illinois, the federal courts for the Northern District of Illinois (including the Trial Bar), the Central District of Illinois, and the Federal Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.

 

He is a member of the Stephenson County Bar Association (in which he has served as both President and Secretary), the Winnebago County Bar Association amd the Illinois State Bar Association. Ralph chairs the Judicial Liaison Committee of the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit and serves on the Mandatory Continuing Legal Education Committee for the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit.

 

He is engaged in a broad range of community service and has served on the Board of Directors of the Freeport Community Foundation, YMCA of Northwest Illinois, Freeport Noon Rotary Board of Directors, the Freeport Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and the Chamber Ambassadors, the St. Thomas Church Parish Council (Past President), and the Boards of Directors of Assault and Abuse Services and Malcolm Eaton Enterprises.

 

Ralph and his wife, Mary, have two children, one grandson and have lived in Freeport since 1981.
