Christina Weller earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Iowa College of Law in 2018. She received a degree in Agribusiness, Cum Laude, upon graduating from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo in 2015. While in law school, Christina was a member of the Jessup International Moot Court team. In addition, Christina was a student attorney in the Clinical Law program, focusing on estate planning and general litigation. She also has completed legal internships at Vermeer Corporation and Michigan Farm Bureau.

 

Christina is admitted to practice law in the state courts of Illinois and the federal courts for the Northern District of Illinois. She is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, the Stephenson County Bar Association where she serves as Secretary, and the Stephenson County Farm Bureau.

 

Her service to the community includes membership in the Young Leaders group of the Stephenson County Farm Bureau and she served as a Voting Delegate from Stephenson County at the Illinois Farm Bureau Annual Meetings for 2019 through 2023. She currently serves on the State Young Leader Committee for the Illinois Farm Bureau as the Chair of the Governmental Affairs and Commodities Subcommittee. She served on the 2019-2020 class of the Leadership Institute at Highland College. Christina is a member of the Young Professionals Network (YPN) for the Greater Freeport Partnership. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Freeport Noon Kiwanis Club and serves on the Youth Services Committee.

 

Growing up in a small town, Christina was involved all four years of high school with her local FFA chapter. She showed livestock at the county fair, attended leadership conferences, received her state degree, and competed in career development events, such as agronomy and horticulture. During undergraduate school, Christina was the Chairman of the State FFA finals for Agronomy. In addition, she had internships at ValleyCrest (now BrightView) and at a regional fair. 

 

Christina is excited to work with clients in the areas of agriculture, agribusiness, business and commercial law matters, estate planning, real estate, banking, and litigation. She works to meet the legal needs of farmers, businesses, and individuals in northwest Illinois. 

 

Christina lives with her husband and dog, Rex, in Freeport, Illinois.
